A Million Miles a Minute!

First of all, let me apologize for not having updated my blog in quite some time. I really do love to keep you all posted on what is going on and a shamefully long amount of time has passed since I last updated. Please forgive me and continue checking this site for more regular updates in the future...that being said, let me tell you some of the things that have occupied my time the past few months.
As most of you know I am currently staffing the Discipleship Training School here in California. As part of that I have been spending the better part of my day with the students, whether it be joining them in class, spending time with them one-on-one, leading a small group, grocery shopping for them, helping them cook, and driving them around to various activities. The first month of the school I also spent time looking for a new house for myself and two new roomates as well as take care of details associated with getting my new car. Recently, I have also been helping my co-leader Brandon prepare for our 2 month trip to Africa this fall. Needless to say, this has kept me busy and at times exhausted.
Even though I have been so busy, it has been both a joy and an honor to be able to staff this school. The students are great and have amazing leadership qualities. I am very much looking forward to seeing them step out in faith and trust God for the impossible during outreach. I am also praying that God would use us to bring supernatural physical healing to those in need during our outreach. Please pray for the team as we continue to plan our outreach as well as seek God for his strength and provision.
Aside from DTS, I have also been busy establishing myself even more into my role here as staff as well as in the Central Coast. I have started attending a small group in the area and am hoping to build strong friendships through that. As well I have found a church community which I will hopefully be calling my home church. I have been attending for about a month and have felt welcomed, loved, and encouraged through the teaching, the fellowship, and the Lord's presence there. Please pray for me as I continue to meet new people and I seek God for how I can also be a blessing to this local church.
Thank you to everyone who has faithfully been checking this blog. I look forward to sharing more frequently with you what God has been doing in my life!

yay!!!! you've posted!! I got your email right before we hit the road. currently in Oklahoma and deathly sick of the car, almost 4000 miles later!!!! Montana, well, didn't work out. I'm going to post a blog on our site here soon when we get back to... TEXAS. yep, we're going to be resident Texans for a while. We'll be living there long enough to get Daniel through school, start our business, and hopefully atleast 1 kid. So yeah, you go 2000 miles north looking for where God wants you to settle down and we end up travelling another 2000 miles south to settle down 250 miles from where we started. Now that's called irony. Anyway, I miss you lots. Glad you're settling into the American lifestyle. Stay long enough and you'll realize it's too expensive to go back home!
